A Qualified Retirement Plan is a retirement plan which meets the requirements of Internal Revenue Code Section 401. Employers who maintain a Qualified Retirement Plan receive a tax deduction for contributions made to the retirement plan. Our commitment to prompt, professional and economical plan administration remains the cornerstone of our service to our clients.

Through continuing education and membership in industry organizations, the plan consultants of SRI keep abreast of the current Department of Labor, Treasury Department and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation positions on matters relating to qualified employee plans. Our plan consultants are prepared to recommend plan design consistent with employer goals, as well as appropriate plan changes when desirable or where changes in the client's circumstances warrant them.

For a qualified retirement plan to function properly, and to remain in statutory compliance, professional plan administration must be provided continually. Regular communication between the employer and SRI is critical to insure maintenance of the plan's qualified status.

For both Defined Contribution Plans and Defined Benefit Plans, SRI Plan Consultants will assist in the calculation and allocation of the Annual Employer Contributions as well as the allocation of earnings, investment gains or losses, and forfeitures. Preparation of the Annual 5500 Series Returns, and the required Participant Statements and Notices are included.
